Font License

ATTENTION!

Before installing the software products, please read carefully the following terms and conditions of the License Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement). BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, COPYING, OR USING THESE SOFTWARE PRODUCTS, YOU EXPRESS YOUR CONSENT WITH THESE TERMS! 

Breach of the terms of this Agreement, as well as the use of software products and fonts without a license, entails the consequences provided by applicable law.

Desktop/Standard License

1. General Provisions:

1.1. FONTTAT (hereinafter referred to as the “Licensor”) has all the necessary powers to grant the rights shown in this Agreement.

1.2. This Agreement comes into force and becomes binding on the date the Licensee pays the price for obtaining the rights to use the Font.

1.3. The fact of payment is the Licensee’s consent to comply with the terms of this Agreement.

2. Desktop/ Standard License:

If you are an individual, a small studio, a startup company, or an agency, then this should be the best license for you.

2.1. (1) One user

2.2. (2) two computers installation 

2.3. You have the right to use the font in logos, images, documents in the forms of PDF, JPEG, or PNG.

2.4. You have the right to include the font in E-documents, but you have to ensure that users can not extract the font.

2.5. You have the right to make a reasonable number of the Font backups solely for archival purposes, provided that you retain control of such copies.

2.6. If your client wants a copy of the font, he has to purchase his own license.

3. Restriction of use:

3.1. It is forbidden to embed the Font into documents (EPS, PDF, and others) intended for commercial distribution in the form of electronic books, magazines, other Electronic publications.

3.2. It is forbidden to use the font files in mobile applications.

3.3. It is forbidden to use the font files in video games.

3.4. It is forbidden to use Font files for websites using the @ font-face selector.

3.5. It is forbidden to set the Font on the server to provide multi-user access.

3.6. It is forbidden to distribute the Font files with hardware or software.

3.7. It is forbidden to modify, rename, change the character composition, rebuild or otherwise influence the Font.

3.8. It is forbidden to copy the Font, except for the cases specified in this document.

3.9. It is forbidden to distribute the Font to the public. The Licensee may not post, install and use files on computers, mobile devices, servers, and web servers, websites of other companies or individuals, place them on the Internet, lend them, rent them, or transfer them to another user.

3.10. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, persons who have not entered into a Licensing Agreement with the Licensor may not bring into civil circulation goods, works, or services containing the Font, the rights to which belong to the Licensor.

OTF formats, the license is for two years; it must be renewed when it expires.

Extended License

1. General Provisions:

1.1. FONTTAT (hereinafter referred to as the “Licensor”) has all the necessary powers to grant the rights shown in this Agreement.

1.2. This Agreement comes into force and becomes binding on the date the Licensee pays the price for obtaining the rights to use the Font.

1.3. The fact of payment is the Licensee’s consent to comply with the terms of this Agreement.

2. Extended License:

If you are a medium-sized company, a TV Channel, or a Newsagency, then this should be the best license for you.

2.1. (10) ten users

2.2. (20) twenty computers installation 

2.3. You have the right to use the font in logos, images, documents in the forms of PDF, JPEG, or PNG.

2.4. You have the right to embed the Font into documents (EPS, PDF, and others) intended for commercial distribution in the form of electronic books, magazines, other Electronic publications.

2.5. You have the right to use the font on your OWN website.

2.6. You have the right to use the font on your OWN mobile application.

2.7. You have the right to embed the Font in Base-64 encoded format into digital advertisements and publish such digital advertisements on output devices for up to the licensed number of impressions. If the Licensee allows a third party to use the Font on its behalf to create digital advertisements, the Licensee agrees that:

i) such third party will only use the Font to create digital advertisements on behalf of the Licensee

ii) the Licensee will make such third party aware of the terms of this Agreement;

iii) the Licensee will ensure that such third party destroy the Font upon completion of their use of the Font on behalf of Licensee;

iv) the Licensee shall remain responsible for all acts and omissions of such third party with regards to their use of the Font.

2.8. You have the right to include the font in E-documents, but you have to ensure that users can not extract the font.

2.9. You have the right to make a reasonable number of the Font backups solely for archival purposes, provided that you retain control of such copies.

2.10. If your client wants a copy of the font, he has to purchase his own license.

3. Restriction of Use:

3.3. It is forbidden to modify, rename, change the character composition, rebuild or otherwise influence the Font.

3.4. It is forbidden to copy the Font, except for the cases specified in this document.

3.5. It is forbidden to distribute the Font to the public. The Licensee may not post, install and use files on computers, mobile devices, servers, and web servers, websites of other companies or individuals, place them on the Internet, lend them, rent them, or transfer them to another user.

3.6. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, persons who have not entered into a Licensing Agreement with the Licensor may not bring into civil circulation goods, works, or services containing the Font, the rights to which belong to the Licensor.

OTF, TTF, Woff, and a variable font/ NO NEED to renew the license. 

Unlimited  License

1. General Provisions:

1.1. FONTTAT (hereinafter referred to as the “Licensor”) has all the necessary powers to grant the rights shown in this Agreement.

1.2. This Agreement comes into force and becomes binding on the date the Licensee pays the price for obtaining the rights to use the Font.

1.3. The fact of payment is the Licensee’s consent to comply with the terms of this Agreement.

2. Unlimited License:

This license allows the unlimited usage of the font in a company/ brand. 

2.1. Unlimited users

2.2. Unlimited computers installation

2.3. You have all the rights to use the font on all platforms and publications. 

3. Restriction of Use:

3.1. It is forbidden to modify, rename, change the character composition, rebuild or otherwise influence the Font.

3.2. It is forbidden to distribute the Font to the public. The Licensee may not post, install and use files on computers, mobile devices, servers, and web servers, websites of other companies or individuals, place them on the Internet, lend them, rent them, or transfer them to another user.

You will be offered any format you require. 

Custom Font License

1. Ownership and copyright

A. 01

You have purchased a custom font license to use the font software in your own scope of work. The license does NOT grant you ownership of the font Origins. The fonts are the intellectual property of the respective designer/s that designed them, represented hereby TSfonts type foundry. It is NOT an agreement for the resale of the font software or any portion of it.

B. 01

The fonts can NOT be copied or duplicated in any form except for backup purposes. You do NOT have the right to sell, rent, lease, lent, or sub-license the fonts to any other third party, whatever the reason or relationship.

C. 01

You are NOT allowed to open the fonts in any font editor application (like Fontlab, Fontographer, Glyphs, RoboFont, and others) to modify the outlines of the letters or rename the fonts. Consequently, you can NOT modify the fonts and resell them under a different name or design parameters. You can NOT convert or modify the original font Software under any circumstance.

 2. Lawful Use

A. 02

Custom Font License covers all various usage and application such as (1) Print, (2) Web, (3) App, (4) Publishing, (5) Broadcast, etc.

B. 02

Our Font License/s covers the following font formats: (i) OTF = OpenType font, TTF= True Type font formats.

C. 02

This license does not permit the use of the Fonts by temporary employees, freelancers, or independent contractors in excess of the number of Authorized Users. The fonts can NOT be given to employees for personal use outside the work frame of the company. The fonts should ONLY be installed into an Admin Font Folder (Secure Password Protected) on each computer of the company.

D. 02

If the Licensee allows a third party to use the Font on its behalf to create digital advertisements, the Licensee agrees that:

i) such third party will only use the Font to create digital advertisements on behalf of the Licensee

ii) the Licensee will make such third party aware of the terms of this Agreement;

iii) the Licensee will ensure that such third party destroy the Font upon completion of their use of the Font on behalf of Licensee;

iv) the Licensee shall remain responsible for all acts and omissions of such third party with regards to their use of the Font.

E. 03

You have the right to embed the font software on all registered: (i) website/s, (ii) mobile app, and (iii) registered Electronic Publication.

F. 03

You are entitled to embed the licensed font software in a secured read-only mode, subject to the following restrictions: you shall secure embedded documents against unauthorized use by any third party, such as extracting the font software or using the embedded licensed font software for editing purposes or the creation of a new document or design.

3. Web

A. 03

You have the right to use the font on your website, but it must be protected. Securing the font from theft and leakage is your responsibility.

4. Mobile app(s)

A. 04

You have the right to use the font on your mobile applications.

5. Broadcasting

A. 05

You have the right to use the font on your broadcasting.
